The Role – Duty Manager
We are seeking a full-time Duty Managers to join our team at The White Horse. In this hands-on leadership role, you'll help drive day-to-day operations and uphold the high standards of service and experience Three Pound Group is known for. You'll lead by example, support the broader team, and foster a welcoming, professional, and energetic atmosphere for both guests and staff.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage staff during shifts with a focus on service and efficiency

• Oversee bar and floor operations, ensuring smooth service and guest satisfaction

• Support the coordination and delivery of functions and events

• Maintain venue presentation, ambience, and service standards

• Drive team culture and training through coaching and leading by example

• Monitor patron experience and proactively engage where appropriate

• Conduct cash-ups and ensure compliance with all opening/closing procedures

• Ensure adherence to RSA and venue compliance policies

The Role

We are on the lookout for energetic and enthusiastic casual front of house staff to join the opening team of The White Horse Tavern. We’re hiring across a variety of roles including bartenders, floor staff, and yard hands. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment, enjoy working as part of a team, and love delivering top-tier hospitality, we’d love to hear from you.

Whether you're pouring drinks, delivering meals, clearing tables, or greeting guests with a smile, you'll play a vital part in creating a welcoming and memorable experience for every visitor.

Key Responsibilities

Depending on your role, duties may include:

• Preparing and Serving beverages with speed and precision

• Taking and delivering food and drink orders with attention to detail

• Setting, resetting and clearing tables

• Maintaining cleanliness and organisation of the venue

• Assisting with venue cleanliness, waste removal, and general support (yard-hands)

• Greeting and engaging with guests to ensure a positive experience

• Upholding RSA, Hygiene and workplace safety standards

• Working closely with your team ad managers to ensure smooth operations

What we’re looking for

• Positive attitude, reliability and a strong work ethic

• Previous experience in hospitality preferred but not essential

• Availability to work a range of hours including evenings, weekends and public holidays

• Valid RSA

• Willingness to learn and contribute to a supportive, fast-paced team environment
