What's On at The Tav?
We're bringing a few pub classics to The White Horse!
Thursday – Chase the Ace from 5–7pm. Grab raffle tickets with every purchase and stick around for the draw at 7pm.
Eligibility
Participation is open to patrons aged 18 years and over.
Staff and immediate family members of Three Pound Group are not eligible to enter.
Game Objective
The aim of the game is to find the Ace of Spades from a shuffled deck of cards placed face down at random.
Jackpot
The jackpot will commence at $1,000.
The jackpot will increase by $100 each week that the Ace of Spades is not selected.
If the Ace of Spades is revealed, the jackpot is won, and the game restarts the following week.
Entry Mechanism
On the nominated competition day (Thursdays), raffle tickets will be issued with eligible purchases between 5:00pm and 7:00pm:
1 ticket per beverage purchased
1 ticket per entrée purchased
2 tickets per main meal purchased
1 ticket per dessert purchased
Draw & Selection
The winning raffle ticket will be drawn at random at approximately 7:00pm.
The raffle ticket winner must be present in the venue at the time of the draw. A 2-minute claim period applies once the winning ticket number is announced. If unclaimed, a redraw will occur.
The winner will select one card from the board.
Prizes
If the Ace of Spades is revealed; the jackpot is won.
If a King is revealed; the participant receives a $50 bar card.
If a Joker is revealed; the participant receives a $100 bar card.
All other cards; no prize.
Buy-Out Option
The Venue Manager reserves the right to offer a “buy-out” on the selected card.
If accepted by the participant, they will receive the agreed buy-out prize instead of the potential prize on the card. The chosen card will still be revealed, but no prize associated with that card will be awarded.
If the card is the Ace of Spades, it will be returned face down to the board for the following week, while all other revealed cards remain face up.
