April Charity (Happy Pantry Baldivis)
From October - April, we were proud to support the legends at Happy Pantry Baldivis, raising an incredible $3,250 to help fund their vital work. A huge thank you to the local community who got behind this effort and supported such a meaningful cause.
Baldivis Community Support Inc. (Happy Pantry) began as a grassroots initiative, founded by Peter and Nirvana in 2022. What started as a simple act - rescuing perfectly good supermarket food from landfill to feed farm animals, quickly grew into something much bigger. As the need in the community became more apparent during the pandemic, they opened their property to support people from all walks of life experiencing food insecurity.
Today, with the help of dedicated volunteers, Happy Pantry supports around 3,000 people each month, providing free groceries, social connection, and a welcoming, inclusive space. It has truly evolved into an essential community lifeline.
Their mission is to help neighbours thrive by improving access to food and opportunity through strong community partnerships, while also fostering connection so that no one in need feels alone. With demand continuing to grow each week, and as a volunteer-driven organisation without government funding, donations like this make a real and lasting impact on the local community.
Happy Pantry will also be hosting several fundraising events throughout May to support the purchase of a new food truck - an exciting step in expanding their reach and impact. Learn more here.
May & June Charity (Petanque WA)
Over May & June, we were thrilled to have Petanque WA as the beneficiary of our Friday night Meat Raffle at the Tavern, raising a massive $2,866! Thank you to everyone who came down to support such a great organisation.
Petanque WA is all about bringing people together through the fun and social game of French boules. With six clubs across WA, there’s a place for everyone, whether you’re picking up a boule for the first time or competing at a championship level.
For a not-for-profit organisation, fundraising plays an important role in helping WA players get to National and International tournaments, so we were proud to help support their players and their passion for the sport.

July & August Charity (K9 Dog Rescue)
During July & August we were proud to support our friends at K9 Dog Rescue through out Friday night Meat Raffle held at the Tavern. We (you!) raised a massive $3,490!

K9 Rescue Group is a pro-life shelter that's dedicated to giving dogs a second chance at a happy, healthy life. They work to rescue, train, and rehome dogs from a range of backgrounds, making sure each one gets the care, training, medical treatment and understanding they need to thrive.

September & October Charity (Baldivis Volunteer Fire & Emergency)
We're pleased to announce that we've selected Baldivis Volunteer Fire & Emergency Services as our charity partner for September and October, to be supported through our Friday nigh Meat Raffle held at the Tavern.
Baldivis Volunteer Fire & Emergency Services is made up of dedicated local volunteers who give their time to help protect and support our community when it matters most. From responding to fires and emergencies to helping the community prepare for and stay safe during emergency situations, these volunteers play an incredibly important role across the Baldivis area.
Behind every callout is a team of people who train, prepare and work together to keep our community safe. Their commitment, courage and willingness to put others first makes a real difference to local families, homes and businesses.
We’re proud to support the incredible work of our local volunteers and help give back to the people who are always there for our community.
